2010   TASMANIA 1855 outer letter sheet to London bearing 4d Plate 1 worn state endorsed ‘Per Marco Polo’ & via Melbourne the adhesive cut into three sides but well tied incl by h/s ‘6’ various cds, Australian Packet Liverpool Hobart Town large cds in red etc.  The left half of the original sided letter is missing but the remaining portion  refers to the execution of two men one of whom had been a Bullock driver for the writer and who had confessed to the murders of five men whom he had shot in the head robbed and buried.  A very interesting item [1]       250
